a smoked salmon wrap, yumm
So, this morning I was asked to rename one particular dress from the Vintage FLORA KUNG collection. A salmon-colored chrysanthemum wrap dress. I started to think that sounded like a tortilla wrap. Perhaps I was hungry? It was almost lunch hour. But it’s actually a salmon color, well, even more a smoked salmon color, not a coral or anything or apricot.
The thing with colors is that I can recall and see exact colors right in front of me. I’m sure I’m not unique in this, but when I want to describe something special, I want to be very precise. Hence, a smoked salmon chrysanthemum wrap is really what it is! Sounds like a lunch special. All we need is some cream cheese and chive.
Should we call it what it is? Nah. Don’t think so.
